We made it! Recovery week! No extreme cardio, just a nice workout to get your heart pumping, stretching your muscles and… Wha? Why is this not feeling like recovery? Shaun T said take it easy but it’s not easy. I’m sweating, hard. THIS SHIT IS BANANAS YO!
Cardio abs and balance, much like the rest of insanity, is an experiment in self loathing. I love the results from insanity, I love the energy you get doing insanity. I like the feeling of the lbs just melting off me. but I don’t like INSANITY.
Someone at work asked me what this workout is like and I told them its like self torture. It’s masochistic only, you do it to yourself! It’s like beat me, no wait, I’ll beat myself you just tell me to to it harder and faster.
Insanity is not the traditional sense of fun. Turbo-fire is fun, P90X is fun, hell, Insanity:Asylum is kind of fun. Insanity…not fun. But when you are finished its strangely…fun
It’s a hardcore workout for the person that wants to make a body change NOW! You really get a years worth of results in 60 days but you’re going to work for that years results in 60 days! I wouldn’t have it any other way :). When I’m done working out I need to be sweaty and messy and smelly and feel like i just played in a rain storm on a 100 degree summer day.
