X2 Shoulders and Arms, now THIS is what I was expecting P90X2 to be and WOW! If you’ve done P90X, the workouts were hard and big. This routine hearkens back to those days only harder. Tony clearly has a balance fetish going on with this routine as everything is done with one foot off the ground. Great for working core and arms at the same time, horrible for self esteem if you have suspect balance. I don’t usually have suspect balance, especially after last month of P90X2 but it gets harder in round 2 and 3 doing curls with 25lb dumbells on one foot.
Speaking of improvements, HELLO MONICA! This blonde amazonian she beast is reason enough to do the video but to learn she’s also a mother of twins AND looks better in the video than this airburshed picture:
As Tony says in the video, ladies, don’t be afraid to lift heavy you won’t bulk up, you become Monica.
There are a few exercises in this routine that I had to drop down to 5lb dumbbells. It really works your shoulders and biceps.
X2 Ab rippers is getting harder but i’m seeing improvement. I can now consistently touch my toes on the first exercise, without straining. This means my mid section is slimming and i’m getting stronger. I feel the my entire core working now instead of and extra focus on the side I damaged. This means it’s all even and working together. I don’t have time to listen to Tony, this means i’m working harder and he’s fading into the distance.
There is a pattern when doing Tony videos. 1. you do the workout and notice how much he talks and become annoyed 2. You work so hard that you no longer really hear him talking and you’re just mad because he seems to not be working as hard as you. 3. You begin to find him funny while you’re working out and now you can hear him AND work hard. 4. You cave in and being to look forward to his jokes even tho you’ve heard them for the last 90 days. 5. He become your favorite “celebrity” and you can’t wait to meet him.
Rinse and repeat
