#Asylum

Ah, Vertical Plyo my old friend.  This is a challenging workout, and by challenging I mean exhausting!  This could be one of those workouts I need to do in the middle or end of the day because my legs just don’t want to wake up for all the jump rope work or the long jump.

I did some extra stretching last nigh on my shoulder, it’s a muscle pull, not bad, just obnoxious enough to make the plyo pushups harder than they needed to be but I worked through.

Tomorrow is an Asylum rest day and also the first day of my 18 week marathon program.  I haven’t run since my last 1/2 marathon where I had an abysmal showing. Yeah, there were all kinds of extraneous factors (the flu, sudden 90 degree day, dehydrated) but it still kind of shakes you.  I need to put that run behind me and start looking forward to the Warrior Dash on the 16th and then whatever else may come.  GPS charged, initial route is set.  Tomorrow morning we lace up and hit the road!

Now I need a shower and my coconut milk, greenberry shakeology!

Keep pushing play!  If you’ve been working out with me all this time, you definitely healthy.  Now it’s time to become FIT!
