P90X day 90 and we are done! 3 months of intense strength and core training delicately wrapped up with a last session of Yoga. This particular session comes at the perfect time as I have a 5k in about 5 hours from now. I am relaxed, stretched out and sweating like hell. This was the perfect way to start what is going to be a very busy day and end what was a very good 90 days.
Did you stick with it? Did you learn and grow? Did you find your weaknesses and work through them? Are you so excited about what you’ve just accomplished you want to get your family and friends involved? Then consider becoming a beach body coach and get paid just for sharing your experience with P90x and other beachbody products. Message me if you’re interested. Jobs come and go but people will always need their heath and becoming a coach helps you build a financial and physical future that can only grow. (end sales pitch).
I don’t really have much to say other than i completely enjoyed this 90days. I’ve lost 30lbs during P90X 4 inches and I can tell i’m in the perfect condition to start my next workout on Monday. Insanity:Asylum is going to push me through to level of agility and speed I haven’t seen since I was doing martial arts competitively. It’s a 30 day program and I’ll continue to post my workouts and feelings as I switch from Tony Horton, to Shaun T.
But Tony is not forgotten! Sept 1, as a coach, i get to order my copy of P90X2!!! So I’ll be right back at a new fitness adventure and i’m continuing my 10 week to 1/2 marathon training which should wrap up in Oct. I’ll be running my first 1/2 then and probably my second Dec 4th in Vegas!!!
Anyway, i need to get ready for my 5k and then i’m going to my sisters wedding so I will take and post my after pictures and all that jazz tomorrow. Don’t quit on yourself and your goals, whatever workout you are in the middle of, stick with it, follow the program and watch the results happen. You can do it and I love hearing and seeing other peoples successes and trials as they workout. The best you is still inside fighting to get out and all you have to do is
Just press play!

I got up late today so my original plan was to do P90X in the morning and Asylum at night. I did Asylum when i got home from work and instanly transitioned into P90X Yoga-X because this is my “recovery” week.
Asylum - This shit is crazy! So this is only my day one but the issue is not so much Cardio difficulty as just basic coordination! I”m a black belt, played football and other sports and I couldn’t get the coordination worked out to save my life. The agility ladder is a lot of fun for about 5 minutes, then shit get’s serious. I can’t seem to figure out a jump rope anymore. WOW, nothing makes you feel out of shape like not being able to jump rope.
I just did a freaking Warrior Dash but i can’t jump rope!!! WTF!
At the end of Asylum, i popped in Yoga-X but frankly i was just going through the motions. I haven’t felt that wiped out since doing Insanity the first time. I don’t think I was this tired doing the warrior dash. I Managed 20 minutes of yoga and then decided that i’m not doing workout’s back to back anymore.
I’m drinking down a Greenberry Shakeology now to have my body nice and fueled for tomorrow mornings Core session with p90X
Our little group is doing the Beachapalooza run the end of July. This is essentially the Warrior Dash on a beach. This time everyone’s getting involved. The girls have started training for the run. I’m excited to see fitness come into all my friends life.
Anyway, I managed to Push Play…see you in the morning
