#P90X
Legs legs legs legs legs legs and legs! I don’t like doing legs because I have really thick strong legs. Lunges suck, wall squats suck, single leg wall squats suck. Skaters suck. There is absolutely nothing I enjoy about this Legs and back workout for P90X. Nothing!
All the running i’m doing and turbo-kick, i’m tempted to now do legs and call it even but I don’t because that wouldn’t be X-like. But you can bet you ass I will complain about it for the next 90 days!
The only think I may hate more than Legs and Back is Ab ripper X. They should just rename this particular workout Pain-X because that’s what it is. My quads were shaking!!! I have cramp’s in my calfs and I have to run 16 miles on Saturday.
Not a happy workout day. A good one but not a happy one. Let’s do this again…next week…I guess.
Legs, Back and ab ripper x done! I”m teaching Turbo tonight at a beachbody fit club so this should be fun. Introduce new people to shakeology and get them on a fitness program. That’s what makes this fun.

#P90X day 82, this is the last strength workout and the last ab ripper x workout!!! If this was high school, i just took my last finals and the last week of school is just showing up until I graduate!
I”m so excited and exhausted that im kind of shaking right now. I ran last night and got up this morning and pushed myself through MOST of the legs. I wasn’t sure how well my legs would hold out but I’m pretty happy with the strength, the form and the effort. Good bye legs and back, you are a workout that has done WONDERS in shrinking the size of my legs and you will not be missed.
Ab Ripper X was amazing today. I pushed and pushed and was able to get at least 20 reps with all the exercises. I didn’t realize that running worked your abs as much as it does and i was sore from the get go starting this exercise. I”m curious what the ab routine will be in P90X:MC2 this november. So long torture of my mid section. i”m not bulging a six pack but I know it’s in there. ARX goes into my workout library as a routine I will do when I’m not doing a dedicated program in a few month. Ok who am I kidding, I’ve got my workout blueprint laid out.
Next week is it! Recovery week, the last 6 days of P90X. Yoga, core, kenpo, stretch,core and yoga! We are on the victory liap so stick with it and lets make the last days Xtreme!

I drove down state last night to visit my son, so im working out this morning, everyone is sleep and I can’t do pullups…I really don’t mind.
1/2 way through the legs workout it dawns on me that I still haven’t eaten much in the last 3 days but the Shakeology Cleanse is over and guess what? come on Guess?
297 I broke the 300 barrier. Now some of this is water weight but i’ll keep working hard the next few week and I should be able to get down to 290 by the end of P90X. Just in time to stay Insanity Asylum in Aug.
Invitations are still out there. If you want to train Asylum with me starting in Aug. You’ve got plenty of time to order it.

Abs today were a treat because I decided to do it with my arms in the air for extra effort. I now understand why Tony calls out the girl for having her hands on the ground. That is just “Fine for her.” I think i actually felt a tinge of anger if i can get my hand in the air…
Over all decent workout, not the greatest because i’m not in my element with my weights but I did it. At the end of the day that’s what this is all about, Pressing Play and doing your workouts.

Legs and Back and abs! I did it!
I did it, I did it, I freaking did it!
The entire way home from work i was debating if I was going to do this or not and I finally came to the conclusion that I signed on to do P90X! That means I do every workout or an equivalent, every day i’m suppose to workout and I make it X like!
That means that when i though hard and long I’ve done the Legs and back workout the day before every 5k I have done this year. That means I just didn’t feel like freakin doing it. That means…It’s time to JUST PUSH PLAY!
You ever watch Sophia in the warm up of this workout? She’s cute but she’s annoying. How dare she decide to do stretches her way. Tony said do swimmers going forward…she’s going backward and looking all “I’m to cool to do what tony says” If i’m going to do this video week after freakin week she better damn well participate with the program. I expect her to correct this next week.
I”m sore, i’m sweaty, i’m tired but I did LEGS!

Legs and freak’in back!
I so don’t like working legs, I really don’t liking working legs on friday afternoon. I know I say this ever goddamn week, it hasn’t gotten any better. I’m getting better and stronger at it but the actual workout has not an anyway warmed my heart or made me thing “wow, this is really beneficial for my overall health.”
Also figured out that doing Ab Ripper X right after legs is an experiment in self torture. So you do legs and squats and wall sits and skaters. Todo all these exercises just happens to use the exact same freakin muscles as in and outs, bicycles, frog crunch, fifer kicks and the lot of ab ripper x. So I now know why on Wed i can do more reps than i can on Friday. I know i should have figured this out a long time ago, especially since I am writing it down but you know, i didn’t.

Good news, It’s just about time for me to buy all new jeans, or atleast a better belt. All my pants fall off me by the end of the day which makes for an interesting mile walk from Downtown chicago to the trainstation.

Oh Wait, i’m doing a yoga flash mob tomorrow!!! It’s kind of spare of the minute but I think it will be interesting. If it gets to youtube you can’t miss me. i”m realitively sure i’ll be the only large black guy doing yoga in a sea of women. Although I don’t know this yet since none of us will actually meet until it’s time to do the flash mob, i’m just assuming.
Anway, I’m looking for people who are dedicated to their workouts and like to motivate others to join my Beachbody team. These workouts have given us a lot now ti’s time to thing about giving back and helping others.

This morning workout thing isn’t so bad! I used to always workout early in the morning, many moon ago. It just energizes you throughout the rest of the day. My least favorite workout, Legs and Back (yes, it has finally beat out Yoga-x and Kempo-x), is officially completed with continuing better results. I can tell things are definately working because I don’t have back pains anymore and when I do the wall squats, I can stick it without to much access shaking…at least until the last 10 seconds.
I think I just have an root issue with doing lunges. Ever since highschool football weight training, I’ve always looked at lunges as a girls exercise and squats are for guys. Of course, i’m a more mature and culturally aware adult now and I know this not to be true (A girl that does squats always has an excellent ass), but Lunges still bother me. I may be stupid but I have a hard time deciding which leg is actually doing the work, the back or the front leg. I feel it more in my back leg but i know i’m working the quad on the front leg. Can someone answer this for me?
Ab ripper X is getting much more X like as my reps and for and QUALITY of the core exercises is getting much better. I’ve reached the point in all of my workouts where i’m not longer strugging to get through the workout and now i’m PUSHING for the challenge of the workout and this is where the results begin to skyrocket.!
The same with running, i’m at the point where i’m about to cross over from surviving the run to seeking the challenge in the run! I have a 5K tomorrow so i’m glad I decided to

Week 3 Day 5 Legs and Back. Ab Ribbper X!
Have I mentioned before how much I really don’t like working out on Friday night/afternoon? How about how I really don’t like doing Legs? Today my friends was an experiment in pure will and X like fortatude as I followed my own motto, inserted the dvd and just pushed play.
I have to admit I was initially plesantly rewarded as I was able to increase on the reps i’ve done before and my for is also better. My energy leve is another story. At some point I was so exhausted, probably during the one leg wall sits, that I had to tell myself: “Self, this is the last strenght workout for the week, you will do it, you’re a beachbody coach and it’s your job to do this so you can inspire others to do it.” Myself responded with: (in eric cartman voice) “Screw you hippie!”
I did manage to successfully finish the leg and back workout. No way am I going to let the lovely Dreya Webber continue to stair down her nose at me defiantly. (she alternates between being really hot and really annoying depending on my mood, kind of like Tania from Insanity, only since she’s a feind on my facebook, let’s pretend i didn’t say that)
I started the abs workout and had to cry unckle 1/2 way through. my abs are crampy, i’m tired and i’m suffering from week three exhaustion to the max. I’ve been saying this all week but i’m really glad that next week is the recovery week. I’m going to do Kempo-X tomorrow morning and then i’m running a 5K on Sunday.
I did what i needed to do, I pushed play, now i’m going to chill.
